- Payment method (UPI ID, card type — we do not store full card numbers)

Device & Usage Information

- App usage patterns and interaction logs
Store Owner Information
- Store name, address, and operating hours
- Bank account / UPI details (for payouts)
- GSTIN and business registration details (where applicable)
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve groceree services:
- To process and fulfil your grocery orders
- To authenticate users via OTP
- To connect customers with nearby stores
- To process payments and initiate store payouts
- To send order confirmation and delivery notifications

We do not use your data for unsolicited advertising. We do not share your data with advertisers.
3. Data Sharing
We share your data only when strictly necessary:
With Store Owners
When you place an order, your name, delivery address, and order details are shared with the relevant store owner to fulfil the order.
With Payment Processors
Payment data is processed by certified third-party gateways (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store full payment credentials on our servers.
With Delivery Partners
If a third-party delivery partner is used, your name and delivery address will be shared with them solely for delivery purposes.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority in India.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers located in India, compliant with applicable data protection norms. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Access controls limiting who can view your data internally
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where legally required to retain it.

The groceree app uses limited local storage on your device to:

- Remember your saved delivery addresses
- Store your cart items temporarily
